How to Join Retail DAO

Step 1: Join the Discord Server​

  • Visit our Discord_server.
  • Follow the onboarding instructions in the “start here” channel to verify your account and agree to the community rules.
  • What You Get: Access to public (read only) channels and announcements.
  • Note: Most channels, such as in the Insights Zone, Coordination Zone, Governance Forum and weekly calls, are token-gated and require holding $RETAIL tokens.

Step 2: Acquire $RETAIL Tokens​

To unlock token-gated channels and participate fully in Retail DAO (e.g., participate in DAO efforts (missions, research squads), high-value discussions weekly calls and governance), you need to hold $RETAIL tokens. Here are the ways to acquire them:

Purchase $RETAIL Tokens on Uniswap​

  • How to Buy:
    • Visit Uniswap and connect your wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
    • Select the $RETAIL token pair from our liquidity pools (find and verify Liquiddity Pool links in our Official Links channel on Discord or on the website).
    • Swap ETH for $RETAIL tokens. DO NOT use other cryptocurrencies like USDC to avoid extreme slippage!!
  • Note: Ensure you’re using the official $RETAIL token contract address 0xc7167e360bD63696a7870C0Ef66939E882249F20 to avoid scams.

Step 3: Unlock Token-Gated Channels​

  • Token-Gated Access:
    • Holding $RETAIL tokens grants access to exclusive Discord channels, including:
      • Coordination Zone channels for collaboration on DAO coordinated Missions and Research Squads.
      • Insights Zone channels for high-value crypto discussions.
      • Governance forums for submitting and voting on proposals.
      • Weekly community calls for updates and networking.
  • The CollabLand bot verifies your token balance to unlock these channels every 24 hours.
  • How to Set Up:
    • Connect your wallet to the CollabLand bot in our collabland-join Discord channel.
    • Ensure your wallet holds at least 20,000 $RETAIL tokens.
    • The bot will automatically grant access to token-gated channels based on your balance.

  • Note: Token requirements for specific channels may vary.

Step 4: After Getting Your Membership Role​

  • Read all the instructions in the start here channel and ⁠⁠faq-and-rules channel.
  • Then, submit your Base wallet address to participate in our rewards programs (XP, bounties, etc) in the "submit-wallet" channel. Otherwise we CANNOT send you any token rewards.
