To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, we have the following rules:

General Server Rules

  • Be Respectful: Treat all members of the DAO with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate ban.
  • No Spamming/Soliciting: Do not spam the chat with repetitive messages, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions. Any form of scamming or phishing attempts will result in an immediate ban.
  • No NSFW Content: Keep all content safe for work (NSFW). Posting explicit or inappropriate material is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.
  • Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information about yourself or others without consent. This includes but is not limited to email addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.
  • Listen to Moderators: Follow the instructions of moderators and administrators. Their role is to maintain order and ensure a positive experience for all members.
  • Report Violations: If you witness any violations of these rules or encounter any issues, please report them to the team or moderators immediately.
  • The fewer rules we need, the better! Help us keep it that way by using common sense, acting in good faith, and being constructive!
  • Follow Discord Terms of Service: All members must adhere to Discord's Terms of Service.

Coordination and Insight Zones Specific Moderation Rules and Guidelines

GUIDELINES Keep the chat channels a healthy environment for valuable, high quality discussions about topics relevant to crypto. A few simple guidelines to achieve this:

  • Avoid low effort questions like "What about coin XYZ" or "What should I buy?".
  • Your own logically backed perspective, opinion, etc. is strongly recommended before asking others for opinions.

Sharing content (links to articles/videos, docs etc or screenshots) is AMAZING, BUT:

  • Please include your original thought, important context or added meaning so everyone understands the information you are sharing.
  • Be very careful with the kind of links you share: spamming (affiliate) links can result in muting. Sharing scam/phishing links = instant ban!!
waarschuwing

THESE ARE HIGH VALUE CHAT CHANNELS; WE ARE NOT A SIGNALS GROUP, NOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT, NOR FINANCIAL ADVICE! Posting beginners questions or low value posts can result in muting. There is a Forum thread dedicated for BEGINNERS (avoid beginners questions anywhere else).

Specific Guidelines for Research Squads and Alpha Forum

Only Pro Members and V.I.P. Members can now create new posts in the Alpha Forum and Research Squads. We kindly ask for your help and taking responsibility in ensuring both remain well-organized and used for their intended purpose.

Channel Purposes

  • Research Squads — for groups doing deep dives and ongoing collaborative efforts around specific topics. Think of things like the Airdrop Hunters Squad, Trenchers Squad, or Whale Trackers Squad.
  • Alpha Forum — for analytical posts, sharing insights, or “alpha” that isn't intended as ongoing collaborative group effort. If a Research Squad already covers the topic (or a category), consider posting there instead.
    • Example: Short airdrop notes → Airdrop Hunters Squad
    • Example: Longer analytical breakdown of an airdrop project → Alpha Forum (as long as it’s well-structured).

Research Squad – New Post Format:

  • Title: Squad name (e.g. “Trenchers Squad”) + short purpose or goal,
  • Description: Explain the purpose of the squad, instructions, and any initial guidance,
  • Tags & Thumbnail: Add fitting tag(s), optionally a thumbnail,
  • Pin: Post it, then pin the description!,
  • Content: In a follow-up comment in the thread, add any initial content or findings,

In general the idea is that Research Squad creators also help with "hosting" in the Squad and help keep the thread active through regular engagement. And if great stuff is shared in your Squad, don't forget to actively upvote with an 🦉 reaction.

Alpha Forum – Post Formatting Guidelines:

  • Title: Clear and descriptive — readers should know what to expect
  • Content: Includes a personal thesis — core argument, analysis (fundamental and/or technical), pros/cons, and expected outcomes
  • Tags: Choose the most fitting tag(s)
