• Be Respectful: Treat all members of the DAO with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate ban.
• No Spamming/Soliciting: Do not spam the chat with repetitive messages, advertisements, or unsolicited promotions. Any form of scamming or phishing attempts will result in an immediate ban.
• No NSFW Content: Keep all content safe for work (NSFW). Posting explicit or inappropriate material is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.
• Respect Privacy: Do not share personal information about yourself or others without consent. This includes but is not limited to email addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.
• Listen to Moderators: Follow the instructions of moderators and administrators. Their role is to maintain order and ensure a positive experience for all members.
• Report Violations: If you witness any violations of these rules or encounter any issues, please report them to the team or moderators immediately.
• Follow Discord Terms of Service: All members must adhere to Discord's Terms of Service.

Alpha Zone Specific Moderation Rules and Guidelines

General Alpha Chat

Channel Description:
This channel is for free-flowing discussion, high-value chat, and alpha sharing about various crypto topics, similar to a Telegram channel. Use threads for new topics or questions to keep discussions organized. If valuable information or sources are shared, consider adding them to the Alpha Forum to prevent them from getting buried. Do not share links or documents without providing context.

Rules:

• Keep the chat a healthy environment for sharing real alpha and high-quality discussions relevant to crypto topics.
• Avoid low-effort questions like "What about coin XYZ?" or "What should I buy?"
• When asking for opinions, provide your own logically backed perspective or opinion, not just team propaganda.
• Sharing content (links to articles, videos, documents, or screenshots) is encouraged, but:
  • Must include your original thought, context, or added meaning.
  • Must not include affiliate links or code.

Alpha Forum Guidelines

Purpose:
The Alpha Forum is for accumulating and compiling valuable research, sources, and insights, organized by project, sector, or topic, to facilitate deep research.

Before Submitting a New Forum Post:

• Check if a thread already exists for the coin or topic.

Title Formatting:

• For coins/projects: Include {name of coin/project, e.g., Matic}, {ticker symbol, e.g., $MATIC}.
• For other topics: Include the name of the sector, category, or macro topic.

Forum Post Formatting:

1. Start with a short summary or overview of the project. If using snippets from other sources, provide links to those sources.
2. Include a link to identify the project, such as its CoinGecko page.
3. Choose the appropriate tag.
4. Ideally, upload the project logo as an image for the post.

Replying to Forum Posts:

• Keep the #alpha-forum channel a healthy environment for sharing valuable, high-quality research, insights, and sources.
• When sharing content (links to articles, videos, documents, or screenshots):
  • Include your original thought, context, or added meaning to help readers understand the content.
  • Do not share links or documents without context.
  • Do not include affiliate links or codes.
• Abide by the Discord Community Rules posted in the #faq-rules channel.
• Follow Discord's Terms of Service.
